Epsilon Energy Ltd. Announces Appointment of Director

CONCORD, ONTARIO--(Markwtire – Jan. 25, 2010) – Epsilon Energy Ltd. ("Epsilon" or the "Company") (TSX:EPS) today announced the appointment of Mr. Gregory J. Halvatzis as a Director of Epsilon, effective immediately.

Mr. Halvatzis is a veteran of the oil and gas sector with more than 33 years of experience in the U.S. Gulf Coast region, as well as various basins in North America. He is currently the President of Rockefeller Hughes Corporation, where Mr. Zoran Arandjelovic, Epsilon's Executive Chairman, President and CEO acts as the Chairman. Prior to joining Rockefeller Hughes, Mr. Halvatzis held the position of Exploration Manager – Houston, Senior VP Exploration/Land at SandRidge Energy. Previously, Mr. Halvatzis held positions of VP Exploration, Division Exploration Manager and Chief Geologist in several oil and gas companies. He has B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Geology and an MBA. Mr. Halvatzis is author of more than fifteen articles in various industry publications and he is a recipient of several sector awards.
