eQuest Adds Section 508 Compliance to Its Enterprise Job Delivery Gateway Software
Allows Users With Disabilities to Post Jobs

SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwire - March 2, 2010) - eQuest today announced that it has added
support to its posting user interface to comply with Section 508 -- making
job posting available and accessible to people with disabilities. Under the
Rehabilitation Act in 1998, Congress required federal agencies to make
their websites accessible to people with disabilities. Section 508 was
enacted not only to remove online barriers and encourage opportunities for
people with disabilities but to also encourage innovation of technologies
to achieve these goals.
eQuest acknowledges that proper compliance with Section 508 recommendations
is important to its users with visual, auditory and mobility impairments.
eQuest is committed to providing everyone within these affected groups
accessibility to its job delivery gateway in the areas of user interface
design. eQuest is currently used by many federal organizations and already
conforms to many of the Section 508 accessibility guidelines and
regulations.
According to John Malone, President and CEO at eQuest, "Our continued
technology advancements underscore our commitment to provide our customers
with every avenue possible to source talent through our easy-to-use,
on-demand job posting application."
