eQuest Adds United Kingdom in Monthly Employment Index

Index Now Tracks Both United States and United Kingdom for Recruitment Trending

SAN RAMON, CA and LONDON--(Marketwire - March 2, 2011) - eQuest today announced that it has added the United Kingdom to its new Employment Index which will provide companies a monthly analysis of job posting trends and how effective online advertisements are performing based on candidate responses to those ads. The eQuest Employment Index will review thousands of opportunities gathered from its corporate customer base, index the responses by job classification and location and will provide a synopsis of online recruitment activity.

The eQuest Employment Index will also report on the spending patterns of the Fortune 500 including job posting volumes based on activity over the prior month. The index derives its findings through algorithms based on the supply and demand of open positions posted to responding candidates. A target index of 100 reflects balance in the number of applicants vying for each open position posted. The data to create the index includes thousands of monthly job posting transactions. Reporting includes analysis by industry using the governments Standard Occupational Codes (SOC) in major metros and states and over 950 job classifications.

"eQuest receives and retains a considerable amount of job data in its repositories; growing exponentially each minute of every day," said Sean Luitjens, VP of Business Development. "As a result, we are positioned to calculate and provide a very accurate view of the current hiring supply and demand trends."

eQuest is the leading international job distributor for the Fortune 500 and the majority of the world's Applicant Tracking Systems, CRM's and ERP's.

The eQuest Employment Index will officially be released on March 3, 2011.
