Equilar Appoints Michael Bendorf Vice President of Strategic Development

Senior Executive to Play Key Role in Developing and Implementing Growth Initiatives

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - Jan 31, 2012) - Equilar, the leading provider of executive compensation benchmarking and research solutions, today announced the appointment of Michael Bendorf as Vice President of Strategic Development. In addition to driving the company's overall strategic planning and business development, he will oversee client and professional services, sales, and key thought-leadership initiatives of Equilar Insight, one of the company's two core product lines.

Most recently, Mr. Bendorf served as Executive Director of the Global Equity Organization (GEO), an international nonprofit association dedicated to building and enhancing a worldwide network of equity compensation professionals. He was responsible for all aspects of GEO's development and outreach, including regional and international conferences, ongoing education and networking, strategic relationships, and operational oversight. Previously, Mr. Bendorf served as a principal at Buck Consultants, where he led its global survey, industry research, and thought leadership management groups.
