While BSBR has struggled with its loan growth as of late, its Q4 profits grew 21% compared to last year. Revenue growth was partly due to 101 million Brazilian reals released from provisions on account of its improving credit portfolio. Another Brazilian bank, Banco Bradesco S.A. also saw its Q4 earnings which were up 18% from Q3, helped by lower provisions during the quarter. Banco Bradesco S.A. research report is accessible for free by registering today at www.stockcall.com/BBD100211.pdf
