e.Republic Names Chief Marketing Officer


SACRAMENTO, CA--(Marketwire - July 13, 2010) - Margaret Mohr has been named Chief Marketing Officer for e.Republic, the nation's leading publishing, research, event and new media company focused on state and local government and education markets.

Prior to joining e.Republic, Mohr was the Vice President for Marketing and Promotion for Gannett Broadcasting/News10/ABC for ten years. She was in charge of the branding and marketing initiatives, programming, new media and partnership promotions. Mohr has 25 years experience in marketing in television and newspapers in Sacramento, California, Austin, Texas, San Antonio, Texas and Richmond Virginia.

Mohr is active in the Sacramento area and sits on a number of community boards, including: American Women in Radio and Television; Center for Youth Citizenship; and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Marketing Board.

Mohr has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech.
