Eric Albert Joins XPND Capital as Vice-President, Investments

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Jan. 5, 2016) - XPND Capital, a Quebec-based private equity firm focused on growth investments today announced that Eric Albert joined the firm as Vice-President, Investments effective immediately. Mr. Albert will participate in all aspects of XPND Capital's investments and help support a growing portfolio of companies.

Eric Albert is a seasoned executive with extensive international experience in Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions within the Technology, Media and Telecom industries. Most recently, Eric was Executive Vice President with Stingray Digital Group Inc., where he oversaw all aspects of operations and actively participated in the company's Mergers and Acquisitions initiatives. Previously, Eric was with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation where he was General Manager for Galaxie, the Corporation's digital pay audio service. Prior to the CBC, Eric served as Head of North American Operations for Gameloft, a mobile content developer affiliated with Ubisoft and before Gameloft, Eric held various sales, marketing and operations positions in the information technology and consumer electronics industries. Eric holds a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and an MBA in Technology Management from l'École des Sciences de la Gestion at Université du Québec à Montréal.
