Eric Gaydon Joins C2 Reprographics as Director of Color Operations; Steve Spang and Eric Monroe Promoted

COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwire - October 26, 2010) - Costa Mesa-based C2 Reprographics has hired a new Director of Color Operations and promoted two key employees.

Longtime color printing pro Eric Gaydon has been hired as Director of Color Operations. Gaydon will lead a company-wide strategy to maximize C2's digital color print product offering as the company continues its rapid expansion throughout the Southern California market.

An Orange County native, Gaydon has a background in photography and design. Xerox Corporation recognized him with the distinction "Best Eye for Color" during his nearly 18 years at another large Orange County reprographics company. At that company, Gaydon helped lead a 42-employee Color Department to production of more than 1 million a month, and earned its internal customer service award four years in a row.

"Eric Gaydon has deep experience in color printing, dating back to the pre-digital days when color copying was done by hard-copy and with a camera setup," noted C2 president Gary Crisp.

As the company continues its pattern of growth, it rewards motivated employees with promotions. Steve Spang has been promoted to Hub Store Manager at C2's largest location in Costa Mesa. Prior to joining C2 three years ago, Steve managed a rival reprographer's hub location for more than nine years.

Crisp commented, "Steve Spang has led the night crew, serving customers and being the ultimate team player. His attention to detail, work ethic, and experience make him a great choice to lead our largest location in Costa Mesa."

Also promoted was Eric Monroe, to Marketing Director. Monroe is now responsible for internal and external marketing materials, design, and creative support. In addition, Monroe will consult with C2's largest clients and support C2 in a sales capacity on key Color Department initiatives.

"Eric Monroe will be a key player in maximizing the new efforts we're initiating in our Color Department," said Crisp. "It's an exciting time at C2."
