Eric Lefkofsky -- Joins the Board of Belly, the Leading Digital Loyalty & Marketing Platform for Small Businesses

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - December 10, 2015) - Eric Lefkofsky, Chairman and Co-founder of Groupon, has joined the Board of Directors of Belly. Founded in 2011, Belly is the largest digital loyalty network in the United States with over 12,000 locations and six million members. The platform, designed for local businesses, offers a complete suite of digital loyalty and marketing tools to help businesses of all sizes attract and retain more customers.

Belly provides a consumer-facing iPad to its partner businesses so that customers can earn points redeemable for unique rewards specific to each Belly business. Customers or "Belly Members" download the Belly mobile app (available on iOS and Android) or use the universal Belly Card to earn points for rewards at any business that is part of the Belly network.

Belly received its initial round of funding from Chicago-based venture capital firm Lightbank, where Eric Lefkofsky is a co-founder along with partner Brad Keywell, who is also on Belly's Board of Directors.
