Eric Tetrault Named President of MEQ

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 9, 2014) - Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) is pleased to announce the appointment of Éric Tétrault as president of Quebec Manufacturers and exporters (QME). He will start September 15, 2014.

"Éric emerged as the top candidate with the unique blend of skills and experience necessary to lead the growth of CME in Quebec," said Bernard Labrecque, MEQ chair.

Tétrault arrives at CME from a successful stint as head of government and public affairs with ArcelorMittal Mining Canada where he oversaw issue and relational management with all levels of government.

Éric's earlier career highlights include positions in the media and government, where he was communications director to the premier of the province of Quebec, as well as volunteer positions in the arts and a successful amateur baseball career.

"Éric is the perfect leader to direct QME and lead membership development, advocacy, government affairs and member services," said CME President and CEO Jayson Myers.
