Ericsson Extends Relationship for MMS Solution With Alltel Wireless in US

PLANO, TX--(Marketwire - September 18, 2008) - Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) today announced that it has extended its relationship with Alltel Wireless, owner and operator of the largest wireless network in the U.S.

The deal is an extension of an existing agreement in which Ericsson manages the complete system operations and maintenance of Alltel's Multimedia Messaging Services (MMS). Both companies have found key areas for growth and alignment over the length of their alliance and plan to build on the unique bonds Ericsson has developed with Alltel.
