Erwin Cablayan -- Named First Cause's Director of East Asian Operations

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - December 25, 2015) - Healthcare Director Erwin Cablayan was named the Director of East Asian Operations for non-profit organization First Cause. Founded by Director Daniel York, First Cause is an international organization that majors on leadership development, innovation and a strong focus on ethics. York invited Cablayan to the team due to his passion and experience caring for people.

First Cause was established in 2000 as a Christian-based organization that emphasizes training leaders and helping them promote ethical standards. First Cause promotes Biblical values designed to advance society through spiritual maturation. It has a number of current initiatives in the United States and has already achieved much success across Africa, in countries such as Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Uganda, Nigeria, and Kenya. In 2014, First Cause was invited by President Museveni to work with political, business, military, and religious leaders. Using York's book, The Strong Leader's Hand, First Cause was able to effectively train on vision, teamwork, character, attitude, conduct, and wisdom necessary for establishing strong, ethical leaders.

Erwin Cablayan will oversee the development of First Cause across East Asia, where Christianity has steadily grown over the last century. It is conservatively estimated that there are 70 million Christians in China alone, and that number is expected to rise over the next decade. According to Dr. Peter Hefele of the Shanghai office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, various estimations suggest that there are up to 240 million recognized Christians in North and South East Asia. Cablayan will head operations that promote a message of positive leadership using Christ-centered teaching. With the growth of so many Christians in a culture that is primarily Hindu, Muslim, and Buddhist, it is an incredibly important time for Cablayan and First Cause.

Erwin Cablayan achieved a long and successful career as a major provider in the healthcare industry. Having earned a Masters degree in Health Care Administration from Seton Hall University, Cablayan is an expert in the delivery of care, specifically in the field of Gerontology. Holding the position of CEO and CFO of Healthcare Systems Inc., for over two decades, he successfully implemented strategies to generate large revenues for businesses and stronger benefits for patients across the United States. He is a passionate philanthropist and has contributed to various organizations that focus on the education and care among communities. As well as First Cause, he supports non-profits that minister to the health and well being of members within their community.
