Escape and Recapture of Inmate from Pe Sakastew Centre

On July 8, 2014, at about 12:55 a.m. staff members at Pê Sâkâstêw Centre, a minimum-security federal institution, discovered that Darian Anson Clark Rain was not accounted for.

At approximately 1:25 a.m. on July 8, 2014, Darian Rain was apprehended by the Mâskwâcis detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). CSC and Pê Sâkâstêw Centre are conducting a joint investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
