INNISFAIL, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - May 4, 2014) - Correctional Service Canada
On May 4, 2014 during the 4:30 p.m. count, staff members at Bowden Institution discovered that Maurice Rondeau was not accounted for. The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) immediately contacted the Innisfail detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.
Maurice Rondeau is 64 years old, measures 175 cm (5'9") in height and weighs 90 kg (199 lbs). He has a medium complexion, brown eyes and grey hair. He is currently serving a sentence of 3 years for Sexual Interference.
Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Maurice Rondeau is asked to contact police.
CSC will investigate the circumstances of this incident and is working with the police to locate the offender as quickly as possible.
CSC has given the police all of the information available to help arrest the inmate.
