eSilicon Appoints Bruce Newton as VP of Human Resources

Prior General Director of eSilicon Vietnam Operations Takes Worldwide HR Role

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - May 10, 2016) - eSilicon Corporation, a leading independent semiconductor design and manufacturing solutions provider, today announced that Bruce Newton has been appointed as the new vice president of worldwide human resources, reporting to CEO Jack Harding.

"Bruce has done an outstanding job as the general director of our Vietnam operations as well as managing HR functions in the Asia Pacific region," said Jack Harding. "Bruce's extensive worldwide management experience in the government, academic and private sectors provides a solid base of experience to lead our HR efforts."

Mr. Newton has over 25 years of international management experience with leading global companies. He has held senior HR management positions at companies including Deloitte, Software AG, DHL International and Telstra Telecommunications Corporation. His career started in Sydney, Australia, and he has completed project assignments in over 30 countries. Mr. Newton holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from the University of Technology Sydney and a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He is a past member of the National Economics University Business School Advisory Board in Hanoi, and he has lectured on human resources management with Swinburne University and is supporting international training and development as a member of the Saigon Entrepreneurs Association.
