eSP Wins 2005 Supply Chain Innovator Award

Supply Chain Systems Magazine Recognizes eSP for Creating B2B Web-Based System for MCII, Enabling Its Major Customer to Self-Manage Transactions

TUSTIN, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 12, 2005 -- eBusiness Solution Pros, Inc. (eSP), which designs, implements and supports solutions for wireless warehouse automation and management, has been named a 2005 Supply Chain Innovator by Supply Chain Systems magazine. The award recognizes eSP's professional services organization for creating a business-to-business Web-based system for bus manufacturer Motor Coach Industries, Inc. (MCII) that enables one of its major customers, New Jersey Transit, to self-manage its transactions with MCII's parts division.

Supply Chain Systems' annual Supply Chain Innovator awards are presented to 10 companies that have successfully implemented a supply chain automation or collaboration solution. In partnership with AMR Research, editors of Supply Chain Systems review the nominations from companies that have used supply chain technology in their businesses to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and improve profits and customer service.

The new MCII system integrates with the financial and procurement system used by New Jersey Transit, enabling its garage mechanics to order parts and have them charged to their P-card (procurement) accounts; it also allows transit management to view reports that include information such as inventory levels and order activity at various facilities and for each mechanic. The process is considerably more efficient than the previous paper-based system; parts are delivered faster and with far fewer errors, MCII gets paid faster, and the company gains much better visibility into its inventory.
