Krick will report to Alan Smith, Head of Media, North America.
In the new position, Krick will oversee search strategy across North America and will scale search operations across Essence to promote operational excellence. In addition Krick will be responsible for building on the strong biddable foundations already established at Essence, further developing a well-rounded, expert team of personnel, who manage activity across auction-based media, search, demand side platforms and biddable social inventory. Biddable captures an ever increasing share of Essence's spend, and Krick will be focused on increasing the scale of the team and delivering advances in strategy.

Krick's new position ends his 13 year tenure at digital agency Razorfish, a Publicis Groupe company, where he most recently held the position of Senior Director, SEM Operations. During his time at Razorfish, he managed search strategy for all of the agency's clients and worked with brands such as Carnival Cruise Lines, HSN.com and Johnson & Johnson. In addition, Krick was responsible for synergy and consistency of search campaigns across the company's US regions and offices.
