Essex-Kent CA Re-elected District Association President

John Blanken leads local Chartered Accountants

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 11, 2012) - Tecumseh Chartered Accountant and prominent business leader John Blanken, CA, has been re-elected President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario's Essex-Kent District CA Association. The District Association is the CA profession's local presence and organizes activities that benefit local Chartered Accountants and the community at large.

In addition to helping to serve, represent and provide fellowship among local CAs, the District Association also helps bring the Institute's many programs to its members, while also organizing important community events, such as tax clinics for people with low incomes.

John is a Manager with Hyatt Lassaline in Windsor. A CA since 2008, John serves as an advisor for new start-up businesses, specializes in financial statement audits and is an experienced consultant on the Harmonized Sales Tax.
