Established Film Producer Joins Golden Spirit's Advisory Board

BELLINGHAM, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 18, 2007 -- Golden Spirit Enterprises Ltd. (OTCBB: GSPT) announces that established film producer Maurice Smith has joined its Advisory Board. Mr. Smith has been producing, financing and distributing feature films internationally for over 35 years and has had films distributed through Universal Pictures, Warner Brothers, Home Box Office, Columbia Pictures, MGM and Showtime.

Robert Klein, President of Golden Spirit, states, "I am very pleased that with the inclusion of Maurice Smith's production and distribution experience, we now have the expertise to guide the Company towards the production of viable films."

Mr. Smith will be a tremendous asset towards Golden Spirit's goal to produce films that will appeal to the 15- to 28-year-old moviegoing market which represents the largest audience demographic. His productions have included the "Screwballs" series of movies, "Totally Blonde," "Mortal Challenge," "Demon Keeper" and "Curse of the Crystal Eye." Some of his other films include "LAPD: To Protect and Serve" starring Michael Madsen and Dennis Hopper and "The Covenant: Brotherhood of Evil" starring Edward Furling ("Terminator") and Chandra West ("White Light").

The Company intends to acquire rights to original screenplays as well as solidify the rights to international sales on several films which are currently under review by management. With box office revenues in the film industry totaling over $9 billion this past annum, Golden Spirit has chosen an ideal time to reassess its business and diversify into the film industry.
