BELLEVUE, WA--(Marketwired - Jun 17, 2015) - Esterline Corporation (NYSE: ESL) (www.esterline.com), a leading specialty manufacturer serving the global aerospace and defense markets, has announced that its Power Systems business group has been selected by UTC Aerospace Systems, a division of United Technologies Corporation, to design and manufacture the primary electrical power distribution systems for Embraer's second-generation of E-Jet and Mitsubishi's Regional Jet (MRJ) aircraft programs.

Esterline's equipment will support Embraer Regional Jet (ERJ) models 175-E2, 190-E2 and E195-E2, as well as the MRJ-90. The ERJ primary power distribution system consists of four separate units -- the Left Integrated Control Center, Right Integrated Control Center, Auxiliary Integrated Control Center, and Emergency Integrated Control Center. On the MRJ, Esterline will be providing the Left, Right and Emergency Integrated Control Centers. In total, Esterline estimates these contracts will generate more than $200 million in revenue for the company.

Esterline CEO Curtis Reusser said, "These wins represent a milestone achievement for our Power Systems group and are perfect examples of Esterline's ability to deliver quality, reliable products for critical aircraft systems while building on important customer partnerships for the long term."

Esterline has supplied a variety of products and equipment to UTC for various programs over the years, but this contract marks the first time the Esterline Power Systems business group will supply power distribution equipment to UTC Aerospace Systems for their assemblies. Esterline is showcasing all of its innovative brands at the Paris Air Show in Hall 5, Booth C250.
