ETEX Communications Deploys Pannaway Technologies for Triple Play and Beyond

Leverages Pannaway Systems for Residential and 10G Commercial Applications

PORTSMOUTH, NH -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 4, 2007 -- Pannaway Technologies, Inc., designers and developers of next-generation, converged IP broadband systems for telecommunications companies, announced today that Etex Telephone Cooperative, Inc. is deploying one of the largest Triple Play service networks in Texas with Pannaway's award winning SCN™ platform. Etex has further expanded its use of Pannaway products to provide 10Gigabit per second Ethernet transport services to hospitals, local businesses and intends to expand offering these services to other commercial establishments in their serving area to gain new revenues.

Etex has deployed network elements from Pannaway's entire product portfolio. Managed by the Broadband Access Manager (BAM™), Etex' residential triple play network consists of the BAR™, the BAS™-300, and the BAS-500. Etex deploys the Pannaway equipment in multiple applications including central office, remote terminal and fiber to the building. The BAR™ is used as a high speed, standards based, resilient IP transport ring. Both residential and commercial applications are served off multiple IP rings designed to provide maximum performance and reliability. Etex is one of the first customers to deploy Pannaway's market leading 10Gigabit redundant and resilient transport interface on the BAR™.
