EurOmax Announces Election of Board of Directors and New Management Team

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 22, 2012) - EurOmax Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:EOX) (OTCQX:EOXFF) ("EurOmax" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the following individuals were elected as the Company's board of directors at the Annual General and Special Meeting held today: Mark Gustafson, Randal Matkaluk, Quinton Hennigh, Martyn Konig, Varshan Gokool and Steve Sharpe.

The Company is also pleased to announce the following officer appointments:

• Martyn Konig - Non-Executive Chairman
• Steve Sharpe - President & Chief Executive Officer
• Varshan Gokool - Chief Financial Officer
• Mark Gustafson - Chief Operating Officer
• Dimitar Dimitrov - Senior Vice-President Exploration
• Quinton Hennigh - Chief Geologist, and
• Aurora Davidson - VP Finance & Corporate Secretary.

All of the resolutions that shareholders were asked to consider at the Annual General and Special Meeting were approved.
