European Online Gaming PC Vendors Choose Bigfoot Networks™ Gaming Network Cards to Boost Performance

Bigfoot Networks Announces New Partnerships to Deliver Killer™ Xeno™ Pro Gaming Network Cards in Europe

REDWOOD CITY, CA and AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - August 18, 2009) - Bigfoot Networks, the networking company behind the Killer™ line of gaming network cards, today announced new computer gaming system partners in Europe who will feature the Killer™ Xeno™ Pro in their latest online gaming PCs. The Killer Xeno Pro from Bigfoot Networks is the only network card designed to accelerate online game traffic and provide smoother, more responsive online gameplay. In addition to online gaming PCs from existing partners, including Dell, Alienware and CyberPower, Killer Xeno Pro cards will now be integrated into Combat Ready, Massive Machine, Scan Computers, UltimateFX, UltraForce and Zykon Systems PCs. Bigfoot Networks will demonstrate the superior online performance of the Killer Xeno Pro at gamescom 2009, Cologne, August 19-23, 2009.

According to DFC Intelligence, more than 300 million people worldwide play PC games online. Whether these gamers are playing competitively or just for fun, Bigfoot Networks addresses their need for superior performance by putting intelligent networking technology in their PCs. Bigfoot Networks uses a dedicated Network Processing Unit (NPU) along with innovative software and algorithms to offload network traffic, bypass the Microsoft Windows networking stack and intelligently handle competing bandwidth requirements from different applications. The result is improved online gaming performance and more control in intense game situations.

"As online gaming continues to evolve, so do customer expectations. Gamers now want to do more while they game, including chatting, downloading, instant-messaging, streaming music and browsing the Web," said Paul Jan Schmidt, Marketing Director, Ultraforce. "Bigfoot Networks' Killer Xeno Pro is a key element in an online gaming PC, giving us the technological means to boost customers' online gaming experience and stay one step ahead of gamers' expectations."

"With the release of the Killer Xeno Pro gaming network card in Europe, Bigfoot Networks is thrilled to strengthen its international presence," said Michael Howse, Bigfoot Networks president and CEO. "With the worldwide explosion of online gaming, consumers now expect PCs to be optimized for the new generation of real-time Internet applications. Our top-tier OEMs and system integrators can now meet these expectations and deliver optimal performance to maximize the online experience."
