Crédit Suisse makes reserved capital-increase payment

On June 30th, 2007, the audited consolidated S1 turnover of the group was EUR 14.7 million, in line with the company's objectives. This consolidated turnover includes Europe Environment. This represents an increase of 42% compared to last year, assuming the consolidation of Europe Environnement.

Using the same criteria as in 2006 (without consolidating Europe Environment), turnover came to EUR 6.67 million, compared to EUR 3.66 million for the same period the previous year, representing an increase of 81%. On the same period Europe Environnement turnover's increase reached 19,6%.

Furthermore, at the board meeting of September, 21st it was agreed to issue two million shares with warrants to Crédit Suisse, which constitutes the first part of its stake in the company's share capital. Each of these shares gives the right to underwrite two additional shares.

The related payment was made on October 19th, 2007. The funds will be used to expand the company's activities in the US, specifically in the sector of waste and biomass gasification.

The group operates in the following key business areas:

- Operation of a hazardous waste vitrification unit (Inertam-COFAL)

- Design and sale of gas processing solutions (Europe Environment)

- Sale of plasma torches and related processes (Europlasma SA)

- Gasification of biomass and waste.

With the help of Crédit Suisse, Europlasma is committed to becoming a joint operator of gasification units for producing electricity, and of vitrification units for ash (produced by incinerating household waste) and asbestos.

About Europlasma (

- transform hazardous waste, such as the ash generated by the incineration of household waste and asbestos, into a stable material that can be used in public civil engineering works,

- optimise the production of renewable energy using waste and/or biomass.
