Even Technologies Inc.: MOU Signed for Delivery of
Complete Video Broadcast System Deploying the
Company's PSI_V Codec

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 16, 2005) - Even
Technologies Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ETI)

The Company's patented end to end solution for the telephone sector has,
following successful completion of field trials, been accepted as the
preferred system for Silver Star Communications of Freedom, Wyoming.

Even Technologies Inc. (the "Company" or "EVEN") of Vancouver, Canada,
is pleased to announce that a memorandum of understanding to deploy its
proprietary technology in a complete video over IP and digital video on
demand (VOD) system has been signed to launch the DME™ system on the
Silver Star Communications' DSL network in the third quarter 2005.

The Digital Media Engine (DME™) system features a real-time encoder
that delivers visual DVD quality video at sub 700 Kbps over existing
telephone company DSL architecture permitting up to 3 television sets
per household to operate simultaneously. The cost efficient technology
gives telcos a realistic option for the implementation of video over IP.
The remotely upgradeable firmware of the Set Top Box (STB) means
operators will see reduced costs and extended system life. The system
also includes a VOD element manager, a conditional access protocol, a
STB element manager and a system EPG server.

Silver Star Communications' President, Allen R. Hoopes, says, "We are
very excited to have the opportunity to work with Even Technologies.
Their new products offer great promise to small rural companies such as
ours by allowing us to make the triple play a reality in our existing
network. The PSI_V™ Codec expands the possibility of multiple streams
of video to a much larger customer base than we had ever dreamed was
possible. In addition the product will also address our needs for High
Definition content in the future without significant changes to our
network. Thanks to Even Technologies' products, the deployment of video
in your network makes more sense than ever before."

The Company plans to launch a complete marketing campaign targeting
several commercial contracts for complete system installations.
According to Company COO, Nick Ringma, "The deployment of the DME™
system marks the silk road of codec commercialization and this agreement
represents the beginning of a series of long-term relationships with our
customers. We are most pleased that Silver Star has selected our system
for Video deployment."
