Eventstar Structures Continues to Break the Mold for Semi-Permanent and Temporary Structures

Hundreds of Projects in 2013 and Cutting Edge Projects to Come in 2014

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - January 08, 2014) - When people want to host a special event with unique hospitality experiences, such as customized semi-permanent structures that represent corporate identity, one name should come to mind to make it all happen - Eventstar Structures. The Miami based company has won IFAI International Achievement Awards for eight consecutive years, and continues to take on cutting edge projects that push limits in the temporary structures industry. Eventstar Structures is known for their innovative and customizable structures. From creating 500,000 square feet of space for Miami's Art Basel, to 4,000 square feet for Ericsson's 120 person Nest Forum, Eventstar truly is making a name for its self around the world.

In 2013, Eventstar worked on hundreds of projects to create millions of square feet of event space. The structures that Eventstar manufactures are not your everyday classic tents, but rather modular structures that can be utilized as a temporary space for multiple years. Some structures, such as Ericsson's Nest Forum, are strong enough to withstand hurricane force winds. The conference space was a customized pop-up hexagonal building made of steel and aluminum that stood forty feet tall. Other impressive 2013 projects consisted of New York's Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Eventstar was responsible for the architectural and engineering design of the semi-permanent building that is now the home of NASA's Enterprise Space Shuttle. The shuttle sits on a retired aircraft carrier and is resistant to strong winds and New York's blistery winter weather.

Eventstar Structures is also responsible for creating modular stadium tented seating for up to 3,000 guests at the Kentucky Derby. The customized temporary structure has several unique and complex features in order to achieve the adequate sight lines required for the event. The structure was built on 23-foot reinforced columns with an interior reinforced steel mezzanine. The tiered stadium seating acts as a viewing deck above and a place to house the restrooms and betting lines below.

Eventstar's structures can be climate controlled with a full line of interior amenities. The company also offers on-site temporary power, mobile restrooms and portable hospitality skyboxes.

Eventstar is already working on their 2014 projects and is looking to continue to expand its services across the United States and to other countries. "We are doing well as a company, and growing at a rapid speed. We believe in pushing the limits and providing exclusive experiences for our clients", says Alain Perez, Eventstar CEO. 2014 projects include providing event space for The Bud Light Hotel during Super Bowl XLVIII, The 2014 Kentucky Derby AND The International Fine Arts Exposition in Miami, among others.
