BURBANK, CA--(Marketwire - October 6, 2010) -  Los Angeles-based quintet, Everest will premiere the track "Let Go" on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" on October 12, before joining friends My Morning Jacket soon after at Terminal 5 on October 23. The band's first television performance in support of their sophomore album, On Approach (Warner Bros. /Vapor Records), will be surrounded by a handful of dates with Guster, as well as Grace Potter and the Nocturnals followed by several solo headline shows. Everest has been enthralling listeners with their songwriting prowess and a deep abiding love for music of multiple decades which shines through with a timeless quality. Relix Magazine exclaimed: "What makes 'On Approach' such a compelling album is the strength of the material. Everything about these songs feels like future classics, emotionally saturated rock and roll that stands up against the best from the golden '70s."

Guitar World Magazine concurs, declaring: "From the bluesy barroom groove of 'House of 9's' to the gentle country-rock lilt of 'The Rush' to the ominous fuzz-soaked crawl of 'I've Had This Feeling Before, 'On Approach' comes across as the work of a group of experienced players steeped in rock history and armed with much musical know-how."
