Everton Commences 2,500-Meter Drill Program - James Bay, Quebec

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 19, 2008) - Everton Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:EVR)(FRANKFURT:ERV) is pleased to announce that a 2,500-meter drill program has commenced on Opinaca Block A (optioned from Azimut Exploration Inc.) and the Wildcat 1 (100% Everton) properties, located approximately 2.5 kilometers north of Goldcorp's Eleonore gold deposit, in the James Bay region of Quebec.

The 2,500-meter 15-hole drill program is designed to test coinciding airborne electromagnetic (AEM) conductors, induced polarization (IP) anomalies and geochemical targets processed in conjunction with a new interpretation of the structural regime of the area. On the Opinaca Block A property, the 2,000-meter drill program will focus mainly on the Smiley and the Charles targets, as well as the new Lola Target situated due east of the Smiley Target. The Lola Target consists of a major structural break oriented NE-SW where a series of AEM anomalies are delineated in the north-eastern extension of the Smiley Target. Another 500 meters of drilling will test several AEM and IP anomalies on the Moose Target located on the Wildcat 1 property. The Moose Target represents the western extension of the Smiley Target onto the Wildcat 1 property. For the location of the Lola and Moose targets, please visit the properties section at www.evertonresources.com.

Everton has the option to earn from Azimut a 50% interest on the Opinaca A property, and may earn an additional 15% interest upon the delivery of a bankable feasibility study. Everton is the project operator.
