Local Company Helps Families with the Costs of Christmas


LINDSAY, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Dec. 10, 2014) - The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group, a home and auto insurance company focused on clients throughout Eastern Ontario, today announced an early Christmas bonus for residents of the communities that they serve. The Company will be distributing 150 Christmas trees to families in Lindsay, Alexandria and Perth on Saturday, December 13th - right at the height of Christmas tree trimming season.

"At this time of the year it can be hard for families to make ends meet, we wanted to do our small part to help," said Tim Shauf, President and CEO of the Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group. "We're active in the communities that we serve and this is our way of giving back over the holidays."

What: The Commonwell Christmas tree giveaway: 50 trees will be given away in Lindsay, Alexandria and Perth
When: Saturday, December 13th from 10am-noon (or while supplies last)
