EVO Trillium Opens CNG Station at Central Freight Lines in Fort Worth, Texas

FT. WORTH, TX--(Marketwired - Apr 16, 2015) - EVO Trillium, LLC, the joint venture partnership between EVO CNG and Trillium CNG™, is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of their new compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station located at 5188 East Loop 820 South, Fort Worth, Texas.

The station is open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It has four dual hose dispensers with NGV-1 and T-5000 nozzles and features Trillium CNG's proprietary fast-fill hydraulic intensifier compressor (HY-C). The station has been designed to accommodate Class 8 tractors and trailers, as well as smaller vehicles.

"EVO CNG is extremely excited about the opportunity to work with Central Freight Lines in their effort to become a clean fleet," said Danny Cuzick, President of EVO CNG. "We recognize its pioneering efforts in the field of alternative fuels and look forward to working with Trillium and Central in their clean fuel endeavors."

"This Fort Worth fueling facility is the third and the most important CNG fueling site we will have across Texas," said Don Orr, President and CEO of Central Freight Lines. "EVO Trillium is a trusted partner who is assisting us in closing the availability gap in the natural gas infrastructure. We are now able to complete the triangle in Texas, moving our CNG line fleet between all the major markets in Texas including Houston, San Antonio and the DFW area. Our commercial-private partnership with EVO Trillium has resulted in convenience and reliability in fueling our growing fleet of heavy duty CNG trucks. Utilizing Compressed Natural Gas is helping us to operate more efficiently, reduce pollution and become less dependent on foreign oil imports as we support our home state economy," Don continued. "Central Freight Lines has always been proud to be a carrier that consistently promotes safety throughout our company. Today, we proudly add clean initiatives as another distinction that sets us apart from other carriers."

"We strongly support Central Freight Lines' decision to add CNG powered trucks to their fleet, "said Mary Boettcher, president, Trillium CNG. "Compared to diesel, CNG is less costly, burns cleaner and is an abundant domestic transportation fuel. It is a privilege to be working with EVO CNG and Central Freight Lines who are committed to CNG as a fuel source to power the nation's heavy-duty fleets."

This project is funded in part by the State of Texas through a Clean Transportation Triangle Grant from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
