Heather Coyle, executive vice president, HCP marketing, is the senior executive responsible for guiding the growth of the practice; Brian Whalen, Ph.D., leads all medical and scientific activity. Both executives will be based out of the company's New York office, managing projects across all regions.

With two decades of global healthcare communications experience, Coyle's diverse leadership background in pharmaceutical sales, HCP, DTC and DTP marketing, digital strategy, payor strategy, medical education and publication planning provides a solid foundation from which to increase evoke's focus on HCP marketing to deliver a more robust offering for clients. A Six Sigma black belt, Coyle also brings experience to develop innovative strategies that will ensure the company keeps pace with accelerating technological advances.

Dr. Whalen has been translating his experience in biomedical research at Harvard and Columbia Universities to pharmaceutical industry promotion, where he has focused on peer-to-peer medical education and advertising for the past seven years. His role with evoke's staff and clients is to ensure the medical relevance and scientific accuracy of professional projects, and to align these with overall brand strategies. He also will play a key role in defining content strategy and facilitating content execution, from inception through the medical-legal-regulatory approval process across all digital channels, and online promotional medical education.
