Evolve Technologies and StorageCraft Team Up to Deliver Tips on Disaster Recovery for SMBs

Free Webinar to Coincide With September's "National Preparedness Month"

FAIRFAX, VA--(Marketwire - Aug 29, 2011) - IT services provider Evolve Technologies (www.evolvetech.com) and StorageCraft Technology Corporation (www.storagecraft.com), a provider of backup, disaster recovery, system migration and data protection solutions, are joining forces for a webinar on disaster recovery. The webinar coincides with September's National Preparedness Month, which encourages businesses and individuals to prepare for any type of emergency -- forces of nature, utility or service disruption or manmade disasters. The free webinar will take place Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Evolve Technologies' CEO and Microsoft MVP Dave Sobel and StorageCraft's Brett Twiggs will address the top 10 disaster recovery needs of SMBs. With proper planning, prevention, and protection, disaster recovery helps ensure business data retention and integrity regardless of unplanned events. Included in the webinar will be:

  • An overview of disaster recovery plans and the options available to businesses;
  • How to select the best plan for your business needs;
  • Testing, implementing and updating your disaster recovery plan; and
  • The ROI of a disaster recovery plan, among other topics.

Dave Sobel remarked, "The recent earthquake shook us up in the DC area and served as a reminder that we need to be prepared for any number of disasters and interruptions in service. As we move further into hurricane season, winter and the threat of another Snowpocalypse looms, reinforcing the need to have a reliable, up-to-date disaster recovery plan in place. We welcome the chance to combine forces with StorageCraft to ensure that organizations are informed of the best practices in disaster recovery."

Curt James, StorageCraft's Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, said, "Disaster recovery is a vital part of any organization's IT strategy, and should provide the flexibility needed to ensure business continuity regardless of the event at-hand. By partnering with Evolve Technologies to educate SMBs on the industry options and best practices, we can help reduce downtime and improve security and stability for systems and data."

Webinar registrants will also receive a white paper titled, "Building Your Backup and Disaster Recovery Plan 101," as a supplement to the presentation.
