Evolving Systems Board Appoints New Chairman

ENGLEWOOD, CO--(Marketwire - March 12, 2010) -  Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL), a leading provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and cable markets, today announced that Stephen K. Gartside, Jr., Chairman of the Board, has resigned from the Company's board and Thad Dupper, the Company's President and CEO, will assume the additional role of Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Gartside's decision to step down from the board is part of an orderly transition that has been planned for some time and is based on his desire to focus on his role as President of Newton Running, a privately-held company specializing in the design of performance running shoes.

"Evolving Systems has made substantial progress as a global company and I am very proud of my association with the Company, but it is now time for me to focus my full energies on my position at Newton Running," said Gartside. He continued, "I am proud to have served this outstanding organization and I wish everyone at Evolving Systems continued success. I have no doubt that the Company has a terrific future."

Mr. Gartside joined the Company in August 2001 and has served on the Board since January 2004.
