eWorld's BattleZone Picks Up Registration Momentum With Game Launch

SHANGHAI, CHINA--(Marketwire - June 11, 2007) - BattleZone, a new eWorld Interactive (OTCBB:EWIN) game title for the Chinese market, experienced exponential growth in daily registrations leading into its closed beta launch last week. With over 100,000 registered users on day one of the test period, the game is on track to hit the targeted 500,000 participants before full scale commercial launch this summer.

"We are already more than 20X over-subscribed for the closed beta. And, the numbers are growing by the tens of thousands every day. This positive early response guarantees a robust user test. It also demonstrates the marketability of the game. We are very pleased," remarked eWorld CEO, Guy Peckham.

The Chinese language version of BattleZone made its public debut on eWorld's entertainment portal www.17dian.cn on June 7.

"The number of users who logged onto the game topped our expectations. I expected perhaps 2000 concurrent online users for the testing, but we got over 5000," said VP of Operations, Lawrence Lee. "This is the best closed-beta performance of all games launched this year in China and an excellent number compared to so many great games launched in the past." To put these numbers in context, Mr. Lee added, "By definition, the 'closed' beta is a limited release. We restrict the number of users who can log into the game. And, we don't allow users to register accounts freely. They must take part in a series of events and surveys to earn the right to register. It's a fairly high barrier." But one that over 100,000 eager Chinese gamers were willing to overcome last week.
