EWTN to Host Free Family Celebration

IRONDALE, AL--(Marketwire - May 6, 2011) - Celebrate EWTN Global Catholic Network's 30 years of faithful service! Join us for our fabulous freeFamily Celebration July 23-24 at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Ala.

Come enjoy a roster of well-loved speakers, including "World Over" Anchor (and Mother Angelica biographer) Raymond Arroyo, "JourneyHome" Host Marcus Grodi, "EWTN Live" Host Fr. Mitch Pacwa, and "Sunday Night Prime" Host Fr. Benedict Groeschel.

In addition to this stellar lineup, Saturday night attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the taping of a Special 30thAnniversary Live Show featuring all our speakers plus a roster of special guests.

Our guests include "Women of Grace" Host Johnnette Benkovic, "Life on the Rock" Hosts Fr. Mark Mary Cristina and Doug Barry; EWTN Theology Roundtable Host Colin Donovan , plus radio personalities John Martignoni and Thom Price to name a few.

Mass will be celebrated by the Friars on Saturday and, on Sunday, EWTN is honored to announce that Birmingham Bishop Robert J. Baker has agreed to serve as our celebrant.

Doors will open at 8 a.m. As always, there will be plenty of opportunities for confession as well as Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. It's a day no fan of EWTN will want to miss -- and, best of all, it's free.
