Executive Linda David Named New CEO of Circle of Care Foundation

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - December 20, 2010) - Senior Executive Linda David has joined the Circle of Care Foundation as its new Chief Executive Officer, bringing powerful experience in management, strategy and finance to this successful non-profit.

Formed five years ago to fund important community based health care programs, Circle of Care Foundation (www.thecircleofcarefoundation.org) is focused on supporting the needs of patients, caregivers and their families in Los Angeles County. Programs currently being supported by Circle of Care include the memory disorder support center, Circle of Care Leeza's Place; the geriatric care program at Sherman Oaks Hospital, S+AGE™; and the internationally acclaimed Grossman Burn Center-West Hills and Grossman Burn Center-Santa Ana.

"We are ambitious, and we need to be to support the growing population of caregivers who need access to resources," said Ron Goldie, the incoming Chairman of the Board. "In Linda David, we've found the perfect partner to move forward. Her skills in managing vast and varied operations of major companies including most recently Lupus LA, make her the ideal CEO to forward our agenda. We have much to do -- raise money, spread awareness, and increase services to a vast population of caregivers."

The former Executive Director of Lupus LA, Linda David brings wide-ranging expertise in non-profit management. During her 3 ½ year tenure at Lupus LA, David doubled revenue for Lupus LA in challenging economic times. She also expanded patient services, created numerous strategic alliances and raised the profile of the organization with numerous Hollywood events. David also lobbied members of Congress in Washington, DC to increase funding for lupus research.

"We are dynamically positioned for tremendous growth in the coming year," David said, "with continuing cuts to healthcare programs, there is a tremendous need for the services that we provide to the community. I am delighted with this new opportunity and honored to be associated with Circle of Care as CEO."
