Executives Across Datran Media Business Lines to Lead Key September Conferences Addressing Online Advertising, Trust and Best Practices

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 10, 2010) -  Datran Media, an industry-leading digital marketing technology company, today announced that executives across its business lines, Charles Stiles, vice president of media operations, Steven Vine, chief privacy officer, and Scott Knoll, general manager of Aperture, will deliver thought-leading presentations at the Online Trust and Cybersecurity Forum and during Advertising Week in NYC in September. 

On September 22 from 1:00-5:00 p.m., Charles Stiles, VP of media operations for both Datran Media and UnsubCentral, will instruct an email and regulatory compliance training program on the first day of the Online Trust and Cybersecurity Forum. During the program, Stiles will discuss the need to go beyond CAN-SPAM compliance, considerations for social media and mobile, transparency, disclosure and the top mistakes and opportunities for brands. Attendees will walk away with a blueprint for self-regulation. Co-instructors include Ethan Arenson, spam coordinator for the Federal Trade Commission, Sal Tripi, senior director of compliance for Publishers Clearing House, Susan Lyon, counsel for Perkins Coie LLC, and James O'Brien, VP of global strategy, policy and compliance for Lashback.

On September 28, during Advertising Week in NYC, Datran Media's Chief Privacy Officer Steven Vine will speak alongside privacy and advertising leaders in a discussion around Privacy 3.0. Panelists will address the demands of the FTC, current privacy bills and solutions that exist today that empower consumers with privacy protection and control. Co-panelists, including Jules Polonetsky, founder of the Future of Privacy Forum, Zoe Strickland, VP and chief privacy officer for Walmart, and Susan Israel, senior counsel for Comcast Cable Communications, will share their views on what privacy will look like in September 2011. "Toward Privacy 3.0" will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the Paley Center for New Media.

The following day, September 29, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Datran Media's General Manager of Aperture, Scott Knoll, will join other leading experts across the digital landscape as they discuss and debate the pertinent issues marketers face today during the Advertising Week Data Congress. Taking place at the Times Center Hall, this panel will focus on embracing the connected consumer while providing an in-depth look at the burgeoning digitally driven data ecosystem.
