eXelate Chosen as Preferred Partner to Distribute Semasio Audience Data in Germany

Partnership Will Contribute to Growth of German Digital Ad Market by Providing Access to More Than 50 Million Targetable Users Across Over 100 Platforms

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2014) -  eXelate, the leading independent data platform, today announced that it has been selected as the preferred partner to distribute data from user intelligence platform Semasio in Germany. This partnership will provide the German digital advertising market with an infusion of sophisticated targeting data and enable real-time, data-driven advertising across German audiences.

On September 9, 2014, eXelate's European-Union based operations began to distribute Semasio's more than 50 million German user profiles across more than 100 digital advertising platforms, allowing marketers to gain greater insight into more specific audiences and target them more accurately. Semasio's growing data offering includes 30 million anonymized age and gender profiles and 15 million income level profiles, as well as millions of profiles segmented by specific interests such as finance, consumer electronics and lifestyle/health/sustainability, and specific purchase intents including automotive, travel and telco/ISP.

"We are very excited to partner with eXelate for the distribution of our targeting data in Germany," said Kasper Skou, CEO of Semasio. "eXelate's industry-leading DMP will help us maximize our distribution and enable marketers to target the right German audiences with unparalleled reach and quality."

According to eMarketer, Germany is second only to the UK in European digital advertising revenues and its market value is projected to grow from EUR 5.7 billion in 2013 to EUR 7.7 billion by 2018. Along with mobile, digital display advertising is the primary driver of that growth, yet there has thus far been a dearth of high-quality data in the German market. This partnership will drastically improve the quality and accessibility of targeting data with an infusion of more than 50 million targetable users.

"Digital advertising in Germany is in an exciting period of growth as German advertisers begin to expand into new technologies and capabilities, and now they have access to the kind of high quality data needed to power that expansion," said Mark Zagorski, CEO, eXelate. "We are thrilled to be able to bring Semasio's advanced user intelligence to advertisers and help Semasio continue to drive forward the maturation of the German digital advertising market."
