Exile Resources Announces Plans to Appoint John Scott as Director

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 15, 2005) - Exile Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ERI) today announced plans to appoint John Scott as a director of the Company during December 2005. The appointment will follow due corporate and regulatory procedures. John joins Exile from Standard Bank Ltd where he was Head of Oil & Gas Advisory.

John started his career at the British National Oil Corporation before going to Citibank where he became a Vice-President in the Energy & Project Finance group. In 1996 he moved to Halliburton, Brown & Root where he was Director of Corporate Development & Finance (Eastern Hemisphere). He then joined ABN Amro for two years where he was Executive Director and Senior Vice President responsible for oil and gas advisory on world-wide projects, before moving to Standard Bank in 2002. At Standard Bank he advised the Nigerian government on restructuring and privatization of their oil and gas industry, advised PetroSA on a major African acquisition and several UK independents on a variety of African deals.
