Expect Significant Disruptions in Traffic and Utility Services Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. From December 6-10 in Areas Between the Port of Hamilton and Toronto's Pearson Airport

CAMBRIDGE, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 1, 2010) - Challenger Motor Freight wishes to advise the travelling public and residents who live or work between the Port of Hamilton and Toronto's Pearson airport to expect disruptions in traffic and utility services between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. on the following dates December 6, 7, 8 9, and 10, 2010.

Six oversized pieces of equipment must be transported by truck from the port of Hamilton to their destination near Toronto's Pearson airport between December 6 and December 10, 2010, during the evening and overnight hours only.

Each piece is 150ft (length) x 24ft (width) x 25ft (high), which will require disruptions in traffic and utility services to ensure safe transportation of the equipment as well as the safety of the transportation team and the general public.

Although Challenger Motor Freight, the company responsible for moving the equipment, has worked closely with all stakeholders and has mapped out a route of minimal impact for the general public and local residents along the transportation route, it wants to advise the general public of these disruptions so people have the opportunity to plan accordingly.
