Expedia.ca: Interview Advisory-Do BC Couples Need to Take a "Break"?

Relationship expert shares data and insights on how vacationing can help Canadian couples re-connect

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 18, 2007) - Canadian couples are juggling work, social, and family commitments on a daily basis; often overlooking the most important thing - each other. The Fall is often considered the unofficial "new year" with kids back in school and work picking up - this is also the perfect time for Canadian couples to make the resolution to spend more time together.

The second annual Expedia.ca/Ipsos-Reid relationship survey looks at whether Canadians in committed relationships are taking enough time to re-connect and how couples can plan a trip that maximizes their time together. Relationship expert and couples' therapist Catherine Wood will be in Vancouver on September 20, 2007 to discuss this survey and provide expertise and insight on the following topics:

- Why is it critically important for couples to take vacations together?

- Are "creation vacations" and "babymoons" increasing in popularity?

- How focused are couples on each other during vacation?

- Are factors such as technology taking away from quality couple time on vacation?

- How to plan a couple's getaway that is as exciting as that first vacation together
