BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - June 16, 2008) - Acronis® Inc. (http://www.acronis.com), a
provider of affordable, scalable storage management and disaster recovery
software, will exhibit at the second annual Joint Warfighting conference
and exposition at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, June 17-19, 2008.
The company will feature Acronis True Image Echo in booth #930.
The event, the largest defense conference in the Hampton Roads region, is
co-sponsored by AFCEA International and the U.S. Naval Institute, in
coordination with the U.S. Joint Forces Command and with the support of the
NDIA Greater Hampton Roads Chapter and the AFCEA Hampton Roads and
Tidewater Chapters. It provides a premier venue for engaging military
professionals and industry leaders who are shaping the nation's military
strategies and warfighting platforms.
With Acronis True Image Echo, users can create an exact duplicate image of
the live disk drives on servers or workstations, including the operating
system, all configuration files, programs, updates, databases and data. The
image can be saved to internal or external disk drives (including USB 2.0
and FireWire), networked drives (NAS, SAN), RAID controllers, writable CD
or DVD, SCSI tape drives, or even FTP servers.
"No one knows better about being prepared than the military, and there is
no better software to prepare for technology failure than Acronis True
Image Echo," said Walter Scott, CEO of Acronis. "Disaster recovery is about
building a fail-safe plan for your entire network so that any system can be
restored to a known, working condition quickly and efficiently without
worrying about the underlying infrastructure."
