BARCELONA, SPAIN--(Marketwired - Mar 27, 2014) - Hotel Arts Barcelona is an active member and supporter of Earth Hour, the largest environmental event organised by WWF to raise awareness of climate change.
Hotel Arts Barcelona is going to take part in the official Earth Hour on 29th March 2014 between 8:30pm - 9:30pm by turning off all non-essential lights in the hotel's main entrance and at Frank's Bar.
During Earth hour guests will be invited to celebrate with a complimentary glass of cava at the candle lit Frank's Bar. Bites restaurant will host an atmospheric candle-lit dinner with a sustainable menu created using locally sourced produce, with 1EUR from each menu being donated to WWF.
For those who still want to keep active there will be a special hour-long candle-lit yoga class in the luxury hotel's fitness center. The class will be offered at a cost of 10EUR, all of which will be donated to WWF.
Hotel guests will also be encouraged to switch off the lights in their room and suites. For those wishing to spend this time in their room during Earth Hour, they will be provided with low consumption smoke-free LED 'candle' lights by the concierge.
