Experienced Leader, Stuart Long, Joins Capsule Tech, Inc. as North American Vice President of Sales

ANDOVER, MA--(Marketwire - October 15, 2009) - Capsule Tech, Inc. (www.capsuletech.com), the leading provider of medical device connectivity, today announced that Stuart Long has joined as Vice President of Sales for North America. Mr. Long brings over 20 years of experience in both the clinical and business aspects of healthcare and information technology to Capsule.

Mr. Long started his career in both the clinical domains of radiology and non-invasive cardiology and has since been in both domestic and global sales and marketing leadership roles. He brings a strong understanding of the clinical environment and brings a unique perspective to the sales role and his broad experience provides the leadership to Capsule as we rapidly expand our product portfolio and strategic direction.

Prior to joining Capsule, Mr. Long held positions at Philips Healthcare as VP of Global Product Marketing for Enterprise Imaging and Informatics, at Agfa as the General Manager for their HIS/EMR platform launch in the USA, and at Fuji Medical as the National Director of Sales for Network System. "Stuart's extensive experience will be an invaluable asset to Capsule as we begin to focus more on solutions that improve clinical workflow and enhance patient care and safety," said John Douglass, President of Capsule Tech, Inc.
