Expert Global Solutions Hires Over 1,000 Veterans and Military Spouses

Since Expanding Commitment to U.S. Service Members and Their Families, Company Hires Nearly 750 Veterans and 350 Military Spouses

PLANO, TX--(Marketwired - Nov 8, 2013) - Expert Global Solutions (EGS), a global leader in Business Process Outsourcing, announced that it has hired nearly 750 service members and more than 350 military spouses since expanding its commitment to providing employment opportunities for veterans, retirees, wounded warriors and their family members in Nov. 2012.

EGS is the holding company for two global leaders in business process outsourcing -- NCO Financial Systems and APAC Customer Services. The EGS enterprise currently has over 43,000 employees around the world, including many veterans. With the objective of enriching its employee base with talented, experienced and dedicated employees, EGS launched the expansion of its veterans hiring program in November of 2012. Since that time, EGS has hired 745 service members, of which 498 were hired in 2013.

In addition to hiring service members, earlier this year EGS expanded its outreach efforts to include military spouses through the Military Spouse Employment Partnership. Partnering with the Department of Defense, EGS identifies opportunities that fit the schedules and skills of military spouses. As a result of these efforts, the company has hired more than 350 military spouses. Commenting on the program, Ret. Col. Dennis Tewksbury, who leads EGS' military recruiting efforts stated, "We are pleased to offer flexible and meaningful opportunities to the spouses of military personnel. EGS is also a member of the 100,000 Jobs Mission Coalition. The coalition recently reported that 92,869 veterans have been hired through the third quarter of 2013; moving ever closer to its mission of hiring 100,000 veterans by 2020.
