Experts from Industry and Government to Meet at Infocast's Second "End to End Preparedness for Pandemic Influenza: Opportunities for Public-Private Collaboration"

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - September 10, 2007) - "Extending the Enterprise" will be the focus of Infocast's second business-oriented event, "End to End Preparedness for Pandemic Influenza: Opportunities for Public-Private Collaboration" to be held October 29-31, 2007 in Washington, DC.

The government will be represented by senior officials from the DHS, the CDC, the DHHS, and the Michigan Department of Community Health. The conference's goal is to search for ways to effectively extend the preparedness Enterprise to include new types of partnerships between industry and government. The conference also includes the pre-conference Symposium: "Supply Chain Readiness for Pandemic Influenza Response," where speakers representing the three major components of the pandemic response supply chain will examine the integration and coordination of the supply chain, highlight any gaps that may exist, and explore strategies for addressing those gaps.
