Experts to Discuss Future of Ontario's Electricity Market

Media Advisory Attention: Assignment Editor, Energy Editor, News Editor, Government/Political Affairs Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 23, 2005) - The 160-member Ontario Energy Association (OEA), the premier association representing the natural gas and electricity sectors in Ontario, is hosting a panel discussion featuring Dr. Bryne Purchase, a former Ontario Deputy Minister of Energy and Deputy Minister of Finance and currently a Professor at the School of Policy Studies, Queen's University, and Dr. Mark Mullins, Director of Ontario Policy Studies and incoming Executive Director of The Fraser Institute. This sold-out event, attended by key electricity sector players in Ontario, will focus on Ontario's evolving electricity market, including successes to date, as well as risks and challenges for the future.
