Exploration Company Intent on Helping Namibians and the Community

NORWICH, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Dec 21, 2011) - Currently an advanced stage exploration company, Reptile Uranium Namibia is conducting feasibility studies and has already applied for two mining licences, with more to come. It is believed that the approval process could take up to two years.

RUN is a fully-fledged company which operates two industrial and two residential properties in Swakopmund, Namibia. It holds 100 percent of four contiguous Exclusive Prospecting Licences (EPLs) covering 2,681 square kilometres and 65 percent of three adjoining EPLs covering 1,323 sq km.

The company is of the strong opinion that nuclear energy (and Uranium as fuel) is rapidly gaining ground as the only credible alternate base load source of electricity as the effects of fossil fuel burning and its contribution to global warming is being recognised. This trend is set to continue despite the serious yet non-life threatening events at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Station in Japan earlier this year.

As RUN's Managing Director Dr. Leon Pretorius explains, one of the company's main priorities is to act as an exemplary corporate citizen and assist with social upliftment. As well as its own workforce of around 60, RUN employs contractor drilling and rehabilitation company personnel which totals about 80 people.
