Exploration Orbite: Completion of a Successful Drilling Campaign in Grande-Vallee

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Dec. 13, 2007) - EXPLORATION ORBITE VSPA INC. ("Orbite") (TSX VENTURE:ORT.A) announces the completion of a drilling campaign on its Grande-Vallee property. In the course of this exploration campaign, initiated on September 21, 2007, 40 drillings ranging in depth between 23 and 168 meters were carried out in Zone A totaling 3,222 meters. This zone is the foremost region with high concentration of alumina identified on the property to date. The drillings were performed at an angle of 45 degrees and separated by a distance of 50 meters along 8 north-south parallel lines each separated by 100 meters. The samples extracted are being analyzed by 3 meters sections with focus on the major components (SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, among others); some 700 samples have been forwarded for laboratory analysis to the INRS in Quebec City.

Exploration Orbite's property, located 24 kilometers south of Grande-Vallee in the Gaspesie region, includes more than 50 different contiguous claims covering large bands of clay and shale deposit extending over 15 kilometers across the Denoue and Lefrancois counties. This deposit belongs to the Orignal geological formation dating back to the Cambrian period. Exploration campaigns initiated in 2001 identified the red claystone deposit having a high concentration of alumina and typically associated with red clay soil. To date, 3 different and important surface zones of high alumina containing red claystone have been identified and delimited. One of these zones, in the sector neighboring lake Simoneau, was identified last summer on the western side of the property.

Zone A, the focus of this campaign, extend over a surface having 800 meters in length and 400 meter approximately in width. According to a set of trenches dug last September on the property, the red claystones bands are formed within harder mudstones deposits having a depth of some 10 meters. The drillings have confirmed the continuity and homogeneity of the bands in depth as well as a quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the available resources in depth of at least of 50 meters.

Action Plan

This drilling campaign is one the principal element of Orbite's action plan, which calls for the production of alumina and other materials from its Grande-Vallee property. It follows the laboratory production of ultrapure alumina at a concentration of 99.8% using the proprietary and patent pending process developed by Orbite. A sample of nearly one kilogram of ultrapure alumina was presented to the shareholders of Exploration Orbite a few weeks ago during the annual general meeting.

Samples of ultrapure alumina produced pursuant to the patent pending process of Orbite have been sent to brand name corporations involved in the alumina and aluminum industry for testing purposes. Exploration Orbite is presently undergoing further discussions with certain companies having tested these samples.

As for direct use of red clay in certain industrial applications, thus necessitating very limited treatment, samples have also been provided to many potential users.

Exploration Orbite VSPA Inc. is the holder of mineral rights relating to the Grande-Vallee property which consists in 50 cells covering 2,300 hectares and located 32 km north-east of Murdochville, in Gapesie.
