Explorator Resources Inc. Announces Investor Relations Director

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 16, 2007) - Explorator Resources Inc.(TSX VENTURE:EXO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Leslie Powers to the newly created position of Director, Investor Relations. Ms. Powers will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive investor relations program and for communicating with investors on an ongoing basis.

Before joining Explorator, Ms. Powers was the Director of Investor and Public Relations with Yamana Gold. With more than 14 years experience, Ms. Powers has also served as Director, Corporate Communications for SNC-Lavalin ProFac and Director of External Communications for Banter Technology, as well as several other companies in Canada and the United States.
